Pilates exercises are performed in a gracious and flowing manner. But this doesn't mean that we should all be gymnasts or ballerinas.
Flowing means also taking the energy from the powerhouse and have it flow through your body when you perform the exercise while maintaining the integrity of all the other principles.
Flowing is moving the body in all directions and, for the more advanced among us, the exercises flow into each other with fast transitions in order to help create strength and stamina.
